SwiftSMS is a wireless messaging infrastructure and software provider. We have created our own Software Development Kit (SDK) in order to allow other developers to take advantage of our Messaging Platform.

As all companies and developers are sensitive about their source code, we offer Software Developers the opportunity to easily embed wireless messaging capabilities into any application by using our SDK.

  
The SDK, will allow you to send SMS directly from your application. Therefore you can control WHEN and WHAT is sent according to your requirements !
Whether its a simple SMS sending utility, or integrating SMS into your Internet/ Intranet site, or creating Trigger events in your Database - you can now SMS-enable anything you write !

The Developers Options:

API-DLL option:

This option requires a registration of the DLL on the webserver and/or is distributed with your application.

Process Overview:

  • The information such as Cell Number, SMS Message etc. is sent to our Gateway.
  • Our Gateway sends out the SMS.
  • Once the messages have been sent, our gateway returns the status to the program or to a specified web page.

Joining the Developer Program:

The Developer Program includes:
  • Access to the SwiftSMS Messaging Platform in order to send SMS.
  • Unlimited installation - DLL/ Post Form can be installed on any number of servers and / or computers free of charge
  • Total SMS bill - Total SMS used are calculated

    • The Development program works on either a Subscription basis.
    Subscription Option:
  • R350 once off to set up Development Company's SMS gateway access

    Do you develop application for your clients ?

    You can now offer them additional service - SMS Messaging.
    Create Sub-Accounts for your each of your client so that you can track their SMS usage - and therefore bill them for it !

    Application Examples:

    Some applications that can be developed to include an SMS facility include:
    • Company escalations - alert employees of their responsibilities if tasks have not been completed.
    • Notification Appointments - Send SMS to remind of customers of their scheduled appointments
    • Urgent messages - Ability to alert employees of urgent messages by a cheaper means than a cell phone call
    • Group SMS - Send SMS to groups to notify of events
    • Silent and immediate - Message individuals when in meetings and they cannot answer their phones
